David graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in History and Politics. He subsequently moved to Bristol in 1986 and is married with three grown up children.
His whole career has been in financial services, working with both large (HSBC and Prudential) and smaller companies and, for the last 27 years, David has been an independent financial adviser (IFA). He retired in 2025 and became a Trustee of The James Tudor Foundation the same year, having joined as a Member in 2023.
